Many people sit in darkness trying to fill the hole inside with riches, fame, pleasure, comfort, power, whatever their hands find or their eyes see. But the battle rages on inside as all these things ultimately fail and the hole, the emptiness, remains.

There is only one path to lasting peace within us, and that is the path of light. Jesus is the light that guides us through this world day by day. Darkness can not be overcome with cursing, working, studying, counseling, learning… Darkness can not be removed by anything but light. Light is the only way, and the easiest way to overpower darkness.

Jesus is the light.

Jesus is the peace we seek.
